# Unlimited plans

> How unlimited-bandwidth residential plans work — speed tiers, durations, and what "unlimited" means.

Source: https://docs.trueproxies.com/pricing/unlimited-plans/

Unlimited Residential IPv4 plans have no transferred-byte quota: you pay a fixed price for a speed tier and move as much data as you want. Current tiers, prices and the limits that apply live on the [unlimited residential proxies page](https://trueproxies.com/proxies/unlimited-residential-proxies/) and in checkout.

## How it works

- Pick a throughput tier (10 Mbps to 1 Gbps; hourly plans go up to 100 Mbps). That’s your bandwidth ceiling — there’s no per-GB metering and no overage charges.
- Choose a duration: hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly. Monthly works out far cheaper than running an hourly tier continuously.
- Your plan stays active for the purchased duration; check the dashboard for activation and expiry.

## What “unlimited” does and doesn’t mean

- Unlimited data transfer — yes.
- Unlimited speed — no; throughput is capped at your tier.
- Unlimited connections — no; concurrent-connection and new-connections-per-second ceilings still apply. Your active plan in the dashboard shows the exact values.

## Choosing a tier

- Sustained scraping or monitoring usually saturates far less than you expect — start a tier lower and upgrade if you hit the ceiling.
- Support can move you to a higher tier immediately; pricing adjusts for the remaining billing period.
- Intermittent workloads are often cheaper on [GB-based plans](https://docs.trueproxies.com/pricing/gb-based-plans/).

Connection and session behavior are documented in the [Residential IPv4 reference](https://docs.trueproxies.com/proxy-instructions/products/residential/).

## Published plan fields

The catalogue exposes these customer-facing plan fields:

- `allowance_bytes` — zero for an unlimited-bandwidth plan
- `connects_per_second` — the new-connection rate ceiling
- `currency` — the ISO billing currency
- `enabled` — whether the plan is currently available
- `max_connections` — the concurrent-connection ceiling
- `price_cents` — the exact plan price in minor currency units
- `product` — `residential_ipv4_unlimited`
- `speed_bps` — the selected throughput ceiling in bits per second
- `term` — the purchased access period: `hour`, `day`, `week`, or `month`
