# Creating an account

> Create a TrueProxies account, verify your email, choose a trial or paid plan, and find your services and connection details in the dashboard.

## Registration

1. ### Sign up

   Create your account at [dashboard.trueproxies.com/signup](https://dashboard.trueproxies.com/signup).

2. ### Verify your email

   If the dashboard asks you to verify your email, use the link sent to that address. You need a verified email before you start a trial or place an order.

   > **Note**
   >
   > If a verification link expires or fails, request a new one from the sign-in flow.

3. ### Pick a product

   Select [Start trial](https://trueproxies.com/free-trial/) to get the 1-hour free trial, or choose a plan from the [pricing page](https://trueproxies.com/pricing/).

4. ### Check out

   Checkout shows the final price and terms before you pay.

5. ### Sign in to the dashboard

   Sign in at [dashboard.trueproxies.com](https://dashboard.trueproxies.com). Your services, connection details, and proxy credentials are shown there.

## Account security

- Use a unique password when email/password sign-in is available.
- Keep proxy credentials out of source control and logs.
- Follow the current dashboard controls for account sessions and credential rotation.
